The following vacancies exist in the Executive and Board of Directors of NAPANc:

Officers of the Corporation:

1.  President-Elect:  This position is a two year term, requiring the President-Elect to be mentored by the current President.  Qualifications for this position include:

• Active Membership in your provincial perianesthesia association
• Experience on a Board of Directors or Executive Council in a related association (provincial or national perianesthesia nursing association)
• Commitment to a two-year term as President-Elect, two years as the President, and two years as Immediate Past-President
• Vested interest in PeriAnesthesia Nursing

2.  Treasurer-Elect:  This position is a two year term, requiring the Treasurer-Elect to be mentored by the current Treasurer.  Qualifications for this position include:

• Active Membership in your provincial perianesthesia associatiob
• Experience on a Board of Directors or Executive Council in a related association (provincial or national perianesthesia nursing association)
• Commitment to a two-year term as Treasurer-Elect and two years as Treasurer
• Vested interest in PeriAnesthesia Nursing

3.  Secretary-Elect:  This position is a two year term, requiring the Secretary-Elect to be mentored by the current Secretary.  Qualifications for this position include:

• Active Membership in your provincial perianesthesia association
• Experience on a Board of Directors or Executive Council in a related association (provincial or national perianesthesia nursing association)
• Commitment to a two-year term as Secretary-Elect and two years as Secretary
• Vested interest in PeriAnesthesia Nursing

Board of Directors:

1. Chair, Fundraising Committee:  This position is a one year term, requiring the Chair to be mentored by the past Chair.  This term may be eligible for renewal at the end of this one-year term.

Qualifications for this position include:

• Active membership in your provincial perianesthesia association
• Experience on a Fundraising Committee in a related association (provincial or national perianesthesia or other nursing association)an asset 
• Commitment to a one-year term as Chair
• Vested interest in PeriAnesthesia Nursing
• Must take initiative, and have good organizational skills
• Must be able to meet deadlines

Committee Members:

1.  Nominations Committee:  Members of this committee are appointed by the Board of Directors since there are specific jurisdictional representation that is required.  If you are interested in joining the Nominations Committee, or wish to nominate a colleague, please contact your Provincial Association's President (See "Provinces/Territories" for this information).

2.  Newsletter Committee:  Members are always welcome on this committee, and volunteers accepted.  If you are interested in joining the Newsletter committee, please complete the NAPANc Nominations Form (below).  Nomination is not required, and no experience is necessary.

3.  Fundraising Committee:  Members are always welcome on this committee, and volunteers accepted.  If you are interested in joining the Fundraising Committee, please complete the NAPANc Nominations Form (below).  Nomination is not required, and no experience is necessary.

4.  Website Committee:  Members are always welcome on this committee, and volunteers accepted.  If you are interested in joining the Website Committee, please complete the NAPANc Nominations Form (below).  Nomination is not required, and no experience in websites is necessary.

5.  Conference Committee:  Each year, a different provincial association is responsible for developing the national conference.  Please see "Conference" for further information regarding the province that is hosting the next and subsequent conferences.  If you are a member of the provincial association that is hosting one of the upcoming conferences, please feel free to volunteer on that provinces' conference committee.  Please contact your provincial representative (see "Provinces/Territories") to apply.
